Other Critters

"Satin" & "Velvet
These are both Rex rabbits and I hope to breed them when
I can find a suitable male.

"JJ"
J.J. started off life in a huge feral cat colony at Springhill College,
but now he's living the good life here on the farm.  Our son Luke plays
hide and seek with JJ often and they are good pals.

"Turkey"
We have two of these girls and they don't really have names, we just call them both "turkey".  They are great pets plus they lay eggs!

Buff Orpington hen
This hen lays one brown egg every day and our son loves to get the egg from the nest to bring in the house.  We also have some Americanas (Easter egg layers).

"Herman"
This is our plecto algae eater.  We have a 30 gallon fresh water aquarium
and Herman helps keep it clean, plus he's much more interesting than regular
tropical fish.

"Nemo" & "Dory"
These are two hermit crabs we brought back from our trip to Destin, FL.
They are really neat pets and fun for the whole family.

"Kirby" & "Chicken Little"
These are our Gerbils.  As you can probably tell by the names, our young son named them!  These guys are really comical to watch and very gentle.
Chicken Little is expecting babies in December!!!  We'll put up pictures of the little ones when they arrive!

"Pablo", "Tyrone" & "Uniqua"
These little cuties are Egyptian Spiny Mice.  They look and feel more like mini-hedgehogs because of their coarse, spiny hair.  These little guys are friendly, active and make great pets.
