Livestock Guardian Dogs

These dogs truly guard livestock by protecting them from predators (2 legged & 4 legged). They are NOT herding dogs and do not chase the goats or direct them in any way.

"Glory"

Glory is an Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees cross. She has been wonderful
at keeping predators out of the pasture and is very gentle with the baby goats. Wherever
the herd goes you can guarantee Glory will be right there with them.

"Sparky"

Sparky is a Great Pyrenees/Maremma cross. He helps protect our perimeter fences
and is great at barking anytime he senses anything unusual plus he's very gentle with the babies.

"Havok"

Havok is a registered Anatolian Shepherd. He is learning the ropes from Sparky, his mentor and so far he's doing a great job.
(Side note: No, we didn't misspell havoc, Havok is a superhero)

"Odin"

Odin is a beautiful 2yr old Great Pyrenees. He came from a local rescue and has adjusted very well into his role as a livestock guardian. Odin is a god of war in Norse mythology, so his name is quite fitting.
